Rinaldo Coelho born in Rio de Janeiro and photographer since the 70s.
I started in photography inspired by my father when I was presented with an old Yashica 6×6, a companion for many years.
I have always sought to look at and capture unusual perspectives with some aesthetic sense of beauty, even though the bizarre and extraordinary regularly appear in the various forms of composition.
In 1996 I had my work entitled “A Força de um Detalhe” exposed at the Public Library of the State of Rio de Janeiro, with some prominence in the local media related to cultural events in the city.
The fact that photographic film represents my main work matrix does not exclude the use of technology as part of my creative process. What used to be done in the dark of the photo lab is now done with the support of computer programs and new materials for printing and digital broadcasting such as digital collectible.
